The West needs leadership and examples from the top. We are tired of wafflers like and including Obama and USA's Congressmen/Senators/whatever-other- description, including European Parlamentarians, and Politicians from other western nations especially Italy who have never seen active service in any War, telling combat- troops how to engage the enemy in the field on the basis of Democratic Constitutions which separate the political sphere of influence from the military one.
This constitutional abuse or better misuse of the Democratic Constitution began in the days of President Truman, another little, jealous, back-stabbing, tiny, womanish creature amog those nurtured by our emasculated, bastardised, corrupt political system, when telling one of the greatest modern western Generals, MacArthur the architect of the american victory in the Pacific Area in War II, how to loose the War in Korea. The Americans, instead of electing him as President eventually elected Eisenhower, a pen-pusher.
I would be prepared to go to Iraq or Aghanistan at 70, unfit as i am, any time and risk being blown-up or do what I could do well.......... write articles at the front line. I am sure I would be more truthful, realistic, effective than our modern young pinocchio reporters, such as Mr. MacKenzie of the Age for example, who is actually, in my opinion, a saboteur of our troops' morale, taking our opponents' side in relation to Rules of Engagement as this has now become the fashion to do so, since the war of Korea, among our modern, trollopy, fornicating young ladies of the pinocchio-like-type ( read Collodi's book instead of useless Harry Potter you young idiots), whose favours our young men prefer ( no, not obviously ) rather than the truth and realities of death, life and survival among our soldiers. War is also about destroying the resources and supply-lines and sources of the opponent. In Afghanistan, unless villages of the opponents are threatened by retaliation, like the Pakistani have recently succesfully shown, armament, food-supplies, explosives used to maim and kill our soldiers are going to continue in indefinite use. MacKenzie's interviewee complained, for example, about house-searching ( unbelevable!)and air-strikes. The next requirement shall be that our soldiers fight the Talibans with pocket knives with one hand only.
War is also about achieving superiority on the field of action. WHAT SORT OF A FARCE AND COMEDY IS THIS OH YOU BIASED, WEAK, FOOLISH, AUSTRALIAN, IRRESPONSIBLE ( IN RELATION TO OUR SOLDIERS) CANBERRA/WESTERN POLITICIANS ????????? Has anyone ever considered how the Pakistani Army has recently achieved in about three-weeks-fighting what our glorious allies ( English, Americans, Dutch, Germans and Italians) have not been able to achieve in perhaps five years? I'll tell you how-:No Rules of Engagement and pinocchio-reporters. They told the civilians to evacuate or else. They lined up their tanks and artilleries and systematically demolished entire villages and logistics/resource- centres. Then they went in and fought among the rubble. I would do this in Afghanistan in full Winter after asking for an evacuation in Autumn. Any civilian forced by the Talibans to remain there in a combat area would be the responsibility of the Talibans not the West Coalition. This is what the Israeli also understand and accept as War, not our murderous ( in relation to our own soldiers), biased, trendy, vote-catching, fake-humanists politicians, political prostitutes. This is the type of War ISLAM would make us taste if it had the upperhand. History has proved it over and over. It is a part of their religious beliefs. This is what the Pakistani, who are Moslems, have done to their Taliban-brethrens, who are practically rebel, ( a status cherished and worshipped by our cretin, fucky-fucky, substances-abusing, honour-less, god-less modern youth, bred by viragos) irregular troops. This is Islamic war and it should also be our war-method. Why is it no one wrote against the Pakistani's methods and crucify only Israeli and Allied soldiers? Why does not Obama or tiny, effeminate Rudd and the bunch of sodomitic/pacifist /pseudo -humanist enclave among our politicians in Canberra show us, as soldiers ( oh, I see they are pacifists), on a rotation, mission-basis, how to apply the Rules in an actual mission against a Taliban village firing in earnest against you, killing your mates, then bringing in/parading civilians on the fire-line, to stop you shooting back ? How can our soldiers' morale be high when they are sent in with their hands tied behind their backs? When, after suffering losses in a fire- fight they are told to retreat and leave the centre 0f the opponents' logistic supplies still operational???? WHAT SORT OF A MADNESS IS THIS?
Witnesses among the villagers admitted under cross-examination ( no, not by Pinocchio MacK-Kenzie) that the Talibans had begun firing against the Australians lined-up on a ridge overlooking the Village, and that then, before the Australians could return the fire, unidentified cars appeared across the line of fire.
How is an Australian soldier on the Ridge, to know that someone from the cars, directs a devastating rocket hitting the Commander Vehicle or other armoured vehicle? Journalist MacKenzie, of the Melbourne dayly paper : THE AGE, I am asking you, oh stupid Pinocchio-: HOW?. Yes, you would raise a white flag of truce like Errol Flynn/Tyrone Power did on the Khyber Pass and go down to ask about intentions and identitie s. How convenient! Talibans' guns must fire noiseless/smokeless gun-powder! That is why the Talibans force their civilians ( I claim that there are no civilians among Talibans as the whole village is a weapon against us) to remain on the battle field. A similar tactic happened in the use of civilians, actually, supposedly Australian citizens, in Lebanon where even our Lebanese migrants, who claim to be Australian citizens, having in fact double nationality, how very convenient again, returned there in force to augment these obstructing tactics, costing the Australian taxpayers millions for repatriation on the excuse/claim that their vacation had been disrupted by the hostilities the actually aided. Australians you make me puke in fear, sometimes. The Talibans like Al Qaeda, Hamas, Fatah, & CO. LTD. and whatever other diabolical islamic organisation is determined to use civilians as weapons ( the Vietnamese did the same in Vietnam against the French and the Americans) to frustrate return of fire or retaliations while they retreat to a new position to repeat their inhumane triks or to flee and disappear to begin again in another place at another time.
WAKE UP OH GULLIBLE, BASTARDISED, SODOMITIC WEST BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!
However, as an afterthought, perhaps our modern youth deserves slavery. They shall be the healthiest, sturdiest slaves ever nurtured by the GREENS Nature CONSERVATIONISTS, used as slaves in our own URANIUM mines by those who shall inevitably conquer us, forced to produce the inevitably necessary/required NUCLEAR ENERGY we are blindly, irresponsibly, moronically ( from an engineering perspective) refusing to produce, led by our great LABOUR POLITICIAN, who has no clue whatsoever about ENGINEERING but appears to be a SINGER, GUITAR STRUMMING, PINOCCHIO ROYALE. Very interesting comment. Thank you for the correction, however anonymity is not a praiseworthy trait in my judgment. People who like to hide have some reasons for it. To me, it is basically bad manners in spite of the general widespread acceptance by our democratic degenerated societies. Neither is a Parthian Shot to be praised, meaning that your comment is a general observation without substance as you did not care to show excatly how I wrongly commented on the author with an islamic key. On the contrary, I stressed my feelings, while admitting also, at the beginning of the post, my general ignorance about the author, that Khalil showed the influence of the greek philosophers, but also saying that the Arabs have been the original great interpreters of greek philosophy( getting lots of issues wrong though, the poor sods). So, in spite of not having done the research ( I was wooing dear Miss Lyss) I believe I have written something of value, lovingly. My writings are not meant to be scholarly dissertations, although I treat these seriously enough and try to put value into these. Can you the great critic show me anything you wrote about Khalil? Do you write at all or just criticise those who do, pouncing on them for errors of detail ? I have lived in the Middle East for years and my family has been there for three generations. Do not tell me please or anyone else that Khalil Gibran, although maybe a Lebanese and a Christian, with an arabic or persian name, was totally un-influenced by islamic culture! One cannot live anywhere in the Middle East among Moslems and remain unaffected. One would not be allowed to stay there. I was compelled to come to Australia from Libya in 1959 before the Gheddafi usurpation of power, for example, because they would not allow me to work there unless I became a Libyan. and if one did not get circumcised and embrace Islam one becomes a second rate citizen. Don't give us bullshit about being a Chistian among Moslems.
Khalil poetry is more platonic, greek, than Christian. Yes, Islam was also influenced by greek/jewish culture especially in the culinary arts. arabic and turkish dishes/sweets are in fact of greek origin. What would you expect from a raw people who came out of the deserts in 700 AD and began to write Arabic in 750AD as they did nott have a written language yet?
So, you do some research too, before claiming that being a Lebanese is such a big deal. Is there a Lebanese language apart from Arabic? Yes or no?
No. A Lebanese speacks, writes and thinks in Arabic and feels he is an Arab first.

Yes, I looked up Khalil's biography and found out that he was born in Lebanon in 1893 and migrated to the USA in 1895. His poetry and sensitivity really sound so ancient that he fooled me into believing him actually a persian ( in my judgment, he does write poetry in a persian manner and a platonic bias).
I do not think he was much into Christianity. His people the Maronite, like the Copts of Egypt, and the Jacobites, etc. betrayed the Byzantine Greeks/Romans anyway when the Moslems invaded Palestine in ca. 700 AD and therefore deserved any indignity the Moslems heaped onto them. Sorry!
But poetry is not my interest, although I have competed with Telstra's Bigblog's Poet Laureate David the "gaseous, vaporous" bard, for the attention of the Blogsite's females, especially Miss Lynn,:):):):), I must ashameddly admit, being an old man a Theologian, ad a Templar ( a barbuto though meaning have not taken yet the vows of chastity, poverty and humility ). However God created the females for our admiration and to God's own glory.
My error with Khalil is a minor one as I still believe I captured his essence and spirit, and that is what counts, not the various labels and accidents of a biography. Thank you for correcting me anyway. Please e-mail me and let us become friends. I do not bite or stoke people. Come on, be civilised as Khalil was. Why read him otherwise if in a hypocritical way?

O.K. Khalil is a Christian Lebanese who grew up in the USA. So what? I cannot see anything lebanese or american or particularly christian in the poetry I analysed. Who is a Lebanese anyway, if I may ask, priethee? Lebanese are the most mixed society in the Middle East. Basically, a Lebanese is an Arab of some sort continually augmented from badouin stock from the desert (Laurence of Arabia in "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom"), civilised by persian/greek/french influence and culture. A Lebanese may have a great deal of one of the many european bloods that were brought to Lebanon by the various fornicating invaders in history and this makes a Lebanese, in some instances, a very well bred and gifted person. We have in ustralia for example such a person in Mr. Brack, the Labour politician. I would dare to say that Mr. Brack is very cute-looking and Australians love cute people. A Lebanese however, feels arabic, speaks arabic, writes in arabic, thinks in arabic and I suspect is an islamic sympathiser since most Christian sects in the Middle East are basically pure Arianism and Mohammedanism ( Islamism is a nn ideology not a religion ) is Arianism at the bottom line, from the perspective of Christianity. Any other influence is a borrowing and a fake as the means to some political end or advantage of a sort. So, don't give me your bullshit whoever you are, anonymous. And do not say I am ignorant. Write something if you are capable of and enlighten us on how and why " On Marriage" is particularly 20th century, lebanese, american or christian. I bet you cannot and it cannot be done.

As you see you started me thinking and Templar barbuti are very tenacious thinkers, trained in the Arts of Dialecics by the Arabs, through Aristotle the Greek, except that the Arabs stopped at Sophistry, and this thinking takes time as post 64 is far away in the past. since, as you are aware of, I recently reached post 112.
I would like to finally comment that Khilal Gibran, like all true great geniuses transcends the accidents of his birth, and all that is required to understand these
geniuses is geniality ( I do not mean one must be a genius to understand a genius, only that one has to have soul, feeling, understanding, humanity).
On the basis of this then, I would dare say that his being a Lebanese, a Christian, an American-bred fellow, etc. is all irrelevant. As a matter of fact all these elements do not show in 'On Marriage' at all, unless you show us how and where instead of making negative and disparaging accusations.
All one can really feel, if discerning, is an arabic/persian sensitivity to nature and God of a pantheistic flavour with a greek platonic bias. One can be sure Khalil could write, speak and think in arabic and felt arabic, even if migrated to the USA since the influence of his mother Kamila, from a good family, a strong woman, must have been determinant in his arabic culture.
However, as I said, being an Arab does not exclude deep Persian, Greek, French influences. As I said and maintain, there is not yet such a thing as a Lebanese culture as where does one place the Druses of Mount Lebanon, for example, and the myriad of arabic-speaking ethnic groups/minorities in Lebanon, with their differently originated, micro-pseudo-cultures?
The same applies to us Australians, in spite of fanatical local claims to the existence of an Australian Culture, yet a dream. Australian T-V, for example, makes me suicidal as I cannot afford extra/cultural channels.
I personally am quite proud of, happy and satisfied with my
Christian European Culture, in which I shall die. Please note I say European/Western, not Italian, or whatever...................................

I admitted at the beginning of my post 64 on Gibran that I am not an expert of his poetry, but I also claimed I have a vast, expensively educated soul and that means a great deal more than knowing biographical details about Gibran.
The same applies to a knowledge of History or anything else in the field of the Humaniites.

My ancient theological class-mate, lady Guenevieve has accused me to be an outrageous manic obsessive because of my tamperings with Moses , the Trinitarian/Catholic Credo, the order of presentation of the three persons of the Holy Trinity, etc., on the strength of Gardner. I wish I had the energy to check on Gardner, on Moses and Akhenaten but I feel Gardner may be correct as there is a gap of 800 years [ Emmanuel Velikovsky ] in the Egyptian chronology everyone outside the academic Circles accepts as being correct. Moreover, Horemheb the last of the dynasty, after Tutankhamon ( whose tomb was discovered accidentally ) erased all the names and references to the 18th dynasty in hatred of ATEN, the imageless, hidden God of Akhenaten. However, except for introducing some inevitable subordination, my normalisations do not really affect or change trinitarian belief/faith/prayers.
Subordination appears to be there even if un-intentional, since we, as human beings cannot make three names/objects/statements coincide into one on paper, and one must admit, even in our hearts and minds, due to our being human and naturally split-minded ( Koestler), and have to be graphically sequential
(i.e., something has to come first either in speech or paper even on computer programs with their sequential windows).
What follows shall suggest the existence of two Adams-:
One I shall call the Genetic/DNA/Evolutionary Adam who lived about 65,000 years ago on the northern shores of Lake Victoria
( Africa) and might have been a black man ( even Moses/Akhenaten was half coloured, someone looking like Michael Jackson, or better still, graceful Obama, no offence meant of course to either one of the four:):):):):):) ), and there are people in Sicily I know of, and elsewhere I am sure, belonging to the "A"-Y-DNA haplogroup of original Adam, the other, the Biblical Adam that even Gardner agrees lived in Mesopotamia in about 6,000 BC.
Evolutionary Adam, I am sorry to delude our proud, arrogant chauvinistic human believers in a special direct Creation, an attitude deriving from the ancienr error/(a sin in some criminals among us even today) of considering the earth and human beings as the centre of the whole Universe, evolved like all other life-forms, from the BIOLOGICAL CELL, perhaps with some kicks by the WORD now and then to correct Plan, Chance, Fate and Entropy, ( read Juan Luis Segundo S.J. " An Evolutionary Approach to Jesus Christ", volume V of the five volumes set "Jesus of Nazareth Yesterday and Today", publisher: Maryknoll, N.Y.).
The human being emerged as an Homo ( no not an homosexual you nitwits!) about one million years ago + or - half a million years. The Biblical Adam is the one who, probably belonging to a Y-DNA haplogroup K, I , J, or E ( believe it or not, I belong to the ' E ' and I know of a sicilian person of the same surname of the 'J' haplogroup )............ himself a descendent from the Genetic/Evolutionary Adam ( 'A' haplogroup ), became further genetically manipulated by the elohim ( the Fallen Angels of Genesis which uses ' to make/manufacture/manipulate' in relation to the making of humankind from the earth's substances/materials by the elohim), the most powerful of whom and the one having permanent divine tenure of an association with the WORD ( Holy Spirit in action, in time) being called Yahweh ( Gardner calls IT Enlil Jehovah and does not like IT).
Yehwah, (Yahweh, Jehovah etc.) is a Father of humankind having made a special people of genetically modified human beings.
Both Jews and Arabs claim they are this special people but I doubt it as they have ben blood-letting since time immemorial, still doing so, supporting Gardner's suspicion and mine too, that the Scriptures have been somehow manipulated by the Hebrews in opposition to the Mosaic Israelites who believed in ATEN.
Where/when/how did the WORD find this special being, Yahweh, to associate ITSELF to ( no gender as the WORD is a pure spirit in spite of the feminists' belief to the contrary, naming the WORD Sophia) ?.
As Jesus was a human descendent of David, Yahweh may have similarly been a specially gifted and endowed person, chosen by the WORD, an anscestor of David, living perhaps in 50,000- 35,000 BC at the times of the appearance on earth of the mysterious Cro-Magnon ( 'R ' haplogroup) and the sad, tragic extinction of the Neanderthals, prior to the mesopotamian events of " Making/Genetic Manipulation " resulting in Homo Adamiticus Sapiens Sapiens around 6,000 BC. Also, there must have occurred, between 50,000 and 35,000 BC a widespread, dreary 'holocaust ' of the race of hominids from Africa as the result of wrong manipulations and miscegenations perpetrated by some low-level elohim ( the fore-runners of later ethnic/racial/religious/whatsoever reason, 'cleansers '). Even the Nazis were 'tender babies ' in comparison to those primordial elohim, not the fault of the WORD at all, who made free beings subjected to Chance, Fate, and Entropy ( Scarcity and Necessity ), of the fact therefore that Homo was not yet ready and a faulty version/mark, i.e., in need of some extra genetic manipulations, which were to reveal themselves also not sufficient, requiring the coming of Jesus in 0 AD and a second coming of Jesus, to make a New Earth, sometime in the future ( no, no, all Catholic impetrations and liturgies and sacraments, no, no, Islam or Judaism cannot give us a Kingdom of God made by human beings). The scriptural myth of a world created perfect is just a dream that begs the question: WHY a Fall? that has no scriptural answer. Even the WORD's Creations are commensurate to the WORD's Infinite Power and therefore subjected to the Plan that includes the possibility, if not the necessity of further re-creations ( Thomas Aquinas & all did not like the word necessity associated with God, however, if God so decided to limit God who are we to object?) . This is why Yahweh became then necessary and could not be an easy-going democratic God a " la Obama ". Who knows wether perhaps even Obama might be a minor elohim, a fore-runner of Jesus' second coming ( yes I am being sarcastic and ironic too )?
So, there are people on earth who should have an edge over the others ( for good or bad halas ), the latter not having benefited from special experiences or events. However, thanks to globalisation and escalating fornications, these benefits should very soon reach a vast majority of human kind. However, as already pointed out, these benefits can also work for evil in some of us, and the truth remains that with the coming of Jesus ( ca. 2009 years ago, remember?), genetic modifications for good can occur directly, by the Holy Spirit coming into us through Jesus. This is what St.Paul writes about in Romans in reference to the body of glory.
Yes indeed, we can all now, today, tomorrow, including our adorable, enchanting ( forgive me Yahweh my weackness for females) beloved females ( including Guenevieve), become elohim!
This is the power and beauty of being a Christian!
This is a stage when one can be called a Racist as the Democratic Constitutions assure us we are absolutely all equal. I am glad I read Gardner who, although confused and unable to synthetise, supplies information which, right or wrong makes one speculate.
His information must be correct, although he appears to be confused by it, poor fellow, not being a Theologian such as I am, trained by the cunning and mighty Jesuits of Royal Parade-Parkville-Melbourne, as he is only the Guardian of the Templar-Information and Tradition and does not have to necessarily understand it or synthetise it.
In a way, this is what has happened with the Scriptures which even those who wrote these may not necessarily have understood what they wrote at the time they wrote what they wrote:):):):):).

Please let me remind you Sir Laurence Gardner, a noble Scot, with a Templar Pedigree, is a Quantum Physicist, the Head of the Celtic Church ( in hiding), the Master of Scottish Templars
( in hiding ), the Representative of the Stewarts, the Heirs to the Scottish Crown ( in hiding ). Gardner is also the Holder of all Templar Secrets, Traditions, History, and most importantly, the Templar's Treasures.
Now, with these credentials he cannot be that bad or misinformed, in spite of his not liking Yahweh whom he believes to be a cruel God.
The point is my dear sisters, brethrens, fellows, and readers, that neither the Holy Spirit nor Yahweh nor even sweet Jesus believe in Democracy or Father Christmass or even perhaps in Obama ( perhaps my Lady Guenevieve is right).
Check about Sir Laurence Gardner, the Y-DNA Haplogroups Testing, Juan Luis Segundo S.J., on Wikipaedia before concluding lady Guenevieve is right and of accusing me of having made all the above up through sheer imaginations.
