 How  many   broken,   betrayed  Oaths?

In my opinion,   the ideal of  a  Unity  among  the  people living   in  Italy  or   anywhere  else  in  Europe,  has  been  made obsolete by  the Unity  at  a  higher  level   demanded   by  a  United  Europe.
How   many  oaths    to   how  many   authorities   have  been    sworn   by  Europeans   since   the   end   of   the   Western  Roman  Empire's    political   ideal?  
Let  Europeans    go  back  in  time    and   reduce   the  list of  broken  oaths and  swear  again   the  ancient   allegiance   to  European  Unity   the  Romans  most  honourably    fostered   and   left   as  an   eternal   legacy   to  the   West.
And  let  no one    give  me   any  crap    about  Roman  corruption   as   "   Let   anyone   without   sin   throw   the    first   stone !" 
is  still,   nay,   even  more   applicable   to-day.
The  way    things   are  at  the  moment,   what   value   has   any oath    taken   by   a    European?
And  please   non-Europeans...............................don't   give  us   your  crap,  if   any,    of    this   not   applying    to   you   either.
